About Roxie
Roxie DeWitt Dawson
Roxie Dewitt Dawson is an author, professional keynote speaker, motivational speaker, marriage and family therapist intern, relationship strategist, youth violence prevention advocate, licensed and ordained minister, certified grief counselor, encourager, wife, mother and a passionate “torchbearer of hope.”
Roxie is a dynamic motivational and inspirational speaker, who leads her audience along a pathway of peace; where they will acquire profound inner-determination and “radical hope,” unlike anything they have ever experienced. After losing her four-year-old son tragically at just twenty-five (25) years of age… Roxie uses this, and so many other examples to explain how anyone can make it through the “worse” valley experience, with a made up mind!
Roxie has endured unbelievable trauma and emotional pain. As of March 2021, two of her three children that she birthed, have died suddenly/tragically (one son was four and the other son, thirty-two years old). She has felt like “throwing in the towel” several times and definitely knows how it feels to be totally hopeless….however, she realizes that she was created for greatness and must find a way to use her adversity to help others.
While it is difficult to relive some of her past pain and trauma, Roxie considers herself a “Chosen Vessel” that must share how she managed to not give up; thereby, hoping that someone else will hear her story and decide to “Live Their Best Life!” It has been evidenced that after her speaking events; people literally leave the room sobbing, rejoicing, determined and sometimes, utterly “speechless!” One thing is for certain and that is…NO ONE leaves the room feeling hopeless or ungrateful, because they realize…that there is always someone going through an even tougher time than they are! NO ONE will leave the room the same, after hearing her amazing story of how she found the strength to continue moving forward…. over and over again!
